Local Outreach
Hope Church believes the local church should be a light in its community. We actively love our neighbors in Columbia through a variety of outreach ministries — meeting practical needs and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Adopt-A-Deputy
We honor and support the men and women of local law enforcement through practical care, prayer, and encouragement. Members volunteer to connect with and pray for specific officers and their families.
Good News Club
In partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship, Hope Church volunteers lead after-school Bible clubs at local elementary schools. Each week children hear the gospel and are discipled in the basics of the Christian faith.
International Friendships Ministries (IFM)
Columbia is home to students and families from all over the world. Through IFM, our church reaches out with friendship and hospitality to international students at the University of South Carolina and surrounding universities.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Each summer Hope Church hosts a week-long Vacation Bible School, welcoming children from our congregation and surrounding neighborhoods. VBS is one of our most significant community outreach events of the year.
