Home Groups

Sunday morning is vital — but discipleship happens best in smaller circles. Home Groups are where Hope families open their homes and lives to one another, doing life together throughout the week.

Groups meet at various times throughout the week across the Columbia area. All groups include Bible study, prayer, and intentional community. Whether you're brand new to Hope or have been here for years, a home group is one of the best ways to go deeper.

Bible Study

Each week groups gather around God's Word — studying the same text preached from the pulpit or working through a book of the Bible together. Discussion is encouraged and questions are welcome.

Prayer Together

Home groups are a safe place to share what's on your heart and pray for one another. Groups carry each other's burdens and celebrate God's faithfulness together.

Life Together

Community doesn't happen automatically. Home groups are intentional about building real relationships — sharing meals, celebrating milestones, and caring for one another through hard seasons.

In Your Neighborhood

Groups meet throughout the Columbia area in member homes. Whether you're in the Midlands, Irmo, Lexington, or downtown, there's likely a group near you.

How to find a group

Contact the church office or fill out the form on our Connect page. Let us know your general location and weekly availability and we will match you with a home group that fits your schedule.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”
Hebrews 10:24–25
