East Wing Operating Instructions
The East Wing is our multi-purpose room. It is equipped with A/V hardware to be able to provide several options for use.
To Present Locally
Use the provided HDMI cable in the basket on the door. Plug one end into your device and the other into the HDMI receptacle under the TV.
Make sure the video switcher is on Input 2, ‘East Wing’.
Use the remote in the basket on the door to turn on both TVs. Do NOT change inputs on the TV.
If you need audio, make sure that your device is set to use the ‘EXTRON D’ device. Audio will play through the room speakers.
The room will automatically display content on the screens. If it is not or you hit the ‘Stop Sharing’ button on the touch panel, please press the ‘Share’ button on the touch panel.
Something broken? Please click the button for help. We will respond as soon as possible. If it is time sensitive, there are TVs on carts that can be used and there are projectors in the storage closet by the youth room.
Get to know the touch panel controls.
The touchscreen console in a conference room is the heart of every meeting. It automatically wakes up when it detects motion. On the screen, there are a few things you can do:

Start a new meeting by selecting Meet now .
Make a phone call by selecting Call and dialing a number.
Project your laptop by plugging in the cable connected to the console. Depending on the room settings, it may be projected to the room automatically, or you may have to select Share on the room console.
Cast content onto the room display from your desktop or mobile device.
Select Join with an ID to join a meeting that isn’t on your calendar.
Select Help ? to report a problem or give feedback.
Select More to change settings. You can also adjust the volume of system sounds (notifications, incoming call ringtone, and HDMI content audio playback).
Select Room controls to switch to an OEM-provided application for in-room media or room lighting and/or blind controls. This option is available when configured by your IT admin.
When you're in a meeting, you'll have options to manage your camera and mic, chat with participants, share content, manage participants, invoke reactions, change layouts for the in-room display, and leave the meeting.
